About Avalyn Soft Coated Wheatens
We are John, Jan, Juliana and Jack McKamey. Our love for Wheatens began when we brought home our first Wheaten, Gabe. After realizing one was not enough, we rescued our second Wheaten, Gracie through the SCWTCA. Our first show Wheaten, Ava, came home with us in June of 2006 from Dennis and Bonnie Wirth (Canopy Road Wheatens) and Sue Wuerz (Sundance Wheatens).

Our kennel name ''Avalyn'', comes from an Irish name meaning "Beautiful breath of life", it also has Ava's name in it, making it the perfect kennel name as Ava will be our foundation bitch.
Our goal is to produce Wheatens with great temperaments, excellent health and outstanding breed type, in order to have dogs that excel in all formats of ring competition, as well as being equally wonderful pets at home!
